Digital radiology utilizer computer data rather than film for interpretation and archiving. Digital information technologies, such as PACS and teleradiology provide the tools for radiology to respond to the challenges of today, take more responsibility for the entire diagnostic decision process. The constant improvement in computer power and performance nowadays offers convenient and efficient means of manipulating images, graphics, and movies on off- the -self workstations.
